LANGUAGES OTHER THAN ENGLISH

The Berean Christian High School Language other than English Department inspires students to become confident communicators and worthy ambassadors of a second language. We aim to teach students to understand and speak confidently another language, to be compassionate about other cultures, and to develop empathy for the people whose language we are learning, recognizing them as our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world. 

Students will be able to:

• Understand a different language through listening and reading real life situations and activities. 

• Communicate in the target language using complete sentences in speaking and writing.

• Build connections locally and globally.

• Gain cultural awareness to equip them for real life opportunities like travel, career growth, and mission trips.
