Leadership is more then wearing a name tag with a "title" of being a leader.

Leaders are not just the ones found with the microphone in hand giving as the main speaker or event coordinator.

They don't walk in front of their community, they walk WITH them, hand in hand.
They are servants. On their knees, washing their followers feet, and expecting nothing but to GIVE back!

Just as Jesus does.

I believe this is true leadership, and is the vision to follow the ultimate leader, so that we may be a reflection of his leadership.

Practically speaking, we serve the Berean Christian on a daily basis from providing food options at our Student Store during the day, planning pep rallies, socials, times of spiritual formation, celebration, while always leaving room to show true compassion as we walk beside our student body.

Class Prerequisites

• Must be elected to an office or committee position

• Must have and maintain a minimum 2.75 GPA

• Must have fewer than 25 demerits throughout the year

• Must be available to attend various leadership planning retreats in the summer

Student Leadership is a year long committment, because this program plans and executes the school spiritual and social events such as All School Retreat, Spiritual Emphasis Week, Walk-a-thon, Homecoming, and Junior-Senior Banquet, etc. The class is also involved all year long with fundraising activities to help fund these school events.
