Berean Christian High School seeks students who demonstrate the following:
- A genuine personal desire to attend Berean Christian High School.
- Acceptance of Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and a commitment to live in obedience to Him.
- A strong academic record that reflects diligence, responsibility, and a love of learning.
- Favorable recommendations from their youth pastor, principal, and teachers.
- A willingness to uphold the rules, values, and expectations of the school community.
- Completion of all required application materials in a timely and thorough manner.
- Successful participation in an admissions interview with the student and parents/guardians.
Each year, Berean Christian High School typically admits 100–105 new ninth-grade students. Admission for tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grades is considered on a space-available basis. Each grade level can accommodate approximately 100–110 students, depending on overall school enrollment.
Berean Christian High School carefully considers all components of each student’s application. This includes the completed application, academic transcripts, recommendations from school and pastoral leaders, and the admissions interview. Each element provides valuable insight into the student’s academic abilities, spiritual maturity, and overall fit with the Berean community.
The Berean Christian High School Admissions Committee is comprised of school administrators who carefully review each application, conduct interviews with students and their families, and collaboratively evaluate the overall suitability of prospective candidates. This thorough process ensures that each student admitted is well-aligned with Berean’s academic standards, spiritual values, and community expectations.
Interviews are required for every student and his or her parents or guardians as part of the application process to Berean Christian High School. Once all components of the application—including the online application, recommendation forms, transcripts, and any other required materials—have been received, our Director of Admissions will work with families to schedule an interview. Interviews are conducted by a member of the Admissions Committee and provide an opportunity for the student to share about themselves, their passions, educational goals, and reasons for wanting to attend Berean Christian.
Please note that all applicants must complete their interview by Wednesday, February 12, 2026, in order to receive an admission decision by Thursday, March 26, 2026. Timely completion of the interview ensures that the Admissions Committee can fully consider each student’s application and provide a decision within the established timeline.
Admission to Berean Christian High School is highly competitive. We are committed to enrolling students who demonstrate the greatest potential to thrive academically, spiritually, and personally within our rigorous Christ-centered program.
Please notify the Director of Admissions by email if you decide to withdraw a student’s application. The email must be sent by a parent or guardian and include their signature. Please note that application and enrollment fees are non-refundable.
Berean Christian High School accepts transfer students only when space becomes available due to a current student’s departure. Transfer openings vary from year to year.
Prospective transfer students must meet the following criteria:
- A minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.8.
- A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to live according to His teachings.
- A genuine desire to attend Berean Christian High School and participate fully in its academic and spiritual community.
Our admissions team carefully considers each transfer application to ensure a good fit with Berean’s mission, values, and rigorous academic program.
Please visit the Tuition & Fees page for detailed information about tuition and potential additional fees.
Financial assistance is available to qualifying families who complete a Tuition Assistance Application (which is separate from the application for admissions). Please review the Financial Assistance page for further information.
For incoming freshmen who complete the application process, including an interview, by Thursday, February 12th, offers of admission will be emailed on Monday, March 2nd.
For transfer student applicants for 10th, 11th, or 12th grades, offers of admission depend upon the re-enrollment status of Berean Christian's current students, who are guaranteed their re-enrollment slots through February 28th. Transfer applicants who have fully completed the application process (including the interview) by Thursday, February 12th will be notified on Monday, March 9th.
All admission decisions will be emailed. Students who are offered a position will have one week to accept the offer.
After February, applications for all grades are considered on a space-available basis and prospective applicants are advised to email Berean Christian's Director of Admissions before applying to determine if applications are still being processed for their grade. Later applicants can typically expect a decision within two weeks of completing the entire application process.
If a student is offered placement in the wait pool, a response is required to either accept the offer or withdraw from consideration. Students who choose to remain in the wait pool will be notified if a space becomes available.
Historically, a limited number of students from the wait pool are able to secure enrollment in each grade. We strongly encourage families to have an alternative plan in place in the event that a space does not become available.
While we recognize the value of enrolling siblings and the sense of community that legacy families contribute to Berean Christian High School, admission cannot be guaranteed solely on the basis of family association. Prospective students must also demonstrate the spiritual maturity, academic achievement, and leadership qualities necessary to thrive in Berean’s rigorous and Christ-centered learning environment.
