How to Give

Berean is equipped to receive gifts of both cash and assets.  For cash gifts, simply click here for our Donate Now page. For gifts of publicly traded securities, please click here for the form we use to receive such gifts. For all other asset gifts, please contact us in Development at development@bereanchristian.com or 925-945-6464.

Additional Information on Asset Giving

Berean has an established relationship and a dedicated Giving Fund with the National Christian Foundation (NCF) which is one of the largest facilitators of asset giving in the Christian world.  Since its founding in 1982, NCF Donors have directed more than $16 billion to Christian churches, schools and other ministries.  For assistance with any potential asset gift of any size or complexity, please contact Dan Navarra at dnavarra@bereanchristian.com.

Where to Give

"Where Needed Most"

Unrestricted "where needed most" donations to Berean's general fund are welcome at any time, in any amount. Unrestricted funds allow Berean the flexibility to respond to unexpected needs that may arise or to supplement special campus improvement projects.  Donate now.

Grandparents' Campaign

Each fall, Berean invites the grandparents of our students to support our school in honor of their grandchildren by donating toward a special project to enhance our campus. Over the years, Berean's grandparents have generously donated to help our school realize various improvements such as  new chapel sound equipment, classroom televisions, computer lab upgrades, security enhancements, science lab equipment, and most recently improvements to our gym. Although the main appeal is made to grandparents, anyone is welcome to contribute. Donate now.

Tuition Assistance Fund

A portion of Berean's budget each year is allocated toward need-based financial assistance to offset tuition costs for qualifying families.  Donations to the Tuition Assistance Fund allow Berean the opportunity to respond to more families with financial need, including those who unexpectedly find themselves in crisis. While donations to the Tuition Assistance Fund, administered by the Berean Board Finance Committee are fully tax deductible, be advised that "donations" made intended to benefit specifically-named students or families do not meet IRS qualifications for tax deductibility. Donate now.

Other Designated Donations

Berean can also accept donations designated to its various programs and departments, such as Fine Arts, Athletics, Student Government, clubs, capital projects, and more. Online donors can use the "other" field and indicate the designation in the Comments section. Make a designated donation now.

Occasionally Berean may need to decline accepting a particular designated donation if the designation is too narrowly defined, or is not in line with Berean's purposes or goals, or if the donation would not qualify as tax deductible as designated. If you are interested in making a designated donation but have a question please reach out to  development@bereanchristian.com.

Endowment Fund

Berean Christian High School's Board of Directors has established an Endowment fund to provide a source of long-term support for the school independent of tuition income. The Endowment was funded in 2020 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our school. We believe our Endowment fund will provide us with a firm financial foundation that will help us continue our work of devleoping life time followers of Christ  for the next 50 years.

For cash gifts to our Endowment Fund, please remit a donation via check or donor-advised fund to the school office, payable to Berean Christian High School, noting "Endowment" in the memo field. For gifts of publicly traded securities, you may add that same notation, "Endowment" on the share giving form.  For all other endowment gifts or questions, please contact us at development@bereanchristian.com.
