School Canceled

Dear Berean Families,

Smoke from the “Camp Fire” near Chico has caused a certain particulate (PM 2.5) to reach unhealthy levels in the Bay Area. According to the EPA guidelines and the AQI forecast, we have determined that classes should be canceled for Friday, November 16th. This cancellation may affect the testing and project calendar so please have your student check RenWeb and their student email for updates from their teachers. Tests and quizzes may be rescheduled as early as Monday, November 26th.  

NCS will determine the cancelation of upcoming sporting events. At this point, Saturday’s football game will be played as scheduled. Please be advised that this may change up until the morning of the game.      

I apologize if this causes you any inconvenience, but please know that the health of our students and staff is our top priority. Please continue to pray for all of those affected by this situation and have a wonderful Thanksgiving (Colossians 3:15–17).
