Berean offers foundational creative skills to nurture and encourage students to express themselves and use their talents for God’s glory.
Understanding that the drive to create began with the Creator, Berean cultivates creative spaces for students to explore their passions and connect to communities using their abilities. Through the Arts, students are salt to the world, showing love, beauty, and hope through song, performance, design, or creation.
ADVANCED DRAMA AND STAGECRAFT

ADVANCED CHOIR, CHORALE, CONCERT BAND, BEGINNING GUITAR
Berean’s Music program offers a variety of bands, choirs, and guitar classes.
With several performances throughout the year, students show their growth as musicians. Advanced choir students even participate in a service trip where students perform at several venues to share hope and joy with audiences.
Berean’s Traditional Media program is extensive and gives the skills necessary for students to create impressive portfolios and find their unique art style.
Students showcase their work throughout the year in the classroom as well as in an art show at the end of the year.
Focusing on technical skills, students draw, design, and paint. Students also learn to evaluate and discuss art, art theory, and practices.
Throughout Graphic Arts I & II, students will have the opportunity to explore their God-given creative abilities by exploring a variety of media, and by gaining a better understanding of God as our perfect Creator in doing so. In this course, students will spend the first quarter reviewing the basics of a computer and introduction to Adobe Creative Cloud. The remainder of the year the students will focus on three art and design programs: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Illustrator. Students will get to work on projects such as: movie posters, digital paintings, magazine covers and more.
