Roman Seguerre

Roman has coached Berean Boys Basketball for six years and also coaches Girls Volleyball (Acalanes HS, Diablo Valley VBC) in the East Bay. He coached the Berean Girls Volleyball team that included his daughter Gillian (Berean '19), the school's Greg Johnson Memorial Scholar-Athlete recipient. He coaches to develop individuals into a high-performance and high-character team, guiding them to pursue personal and competitive excellence in order to serve and lead others.

He and his wife, Jean, are dedicated sports parents, supporting Gillian (UC Davis '23) throughout her school and club volleyball playing career. Roman has led endurance sports teams as a manager and participant, culminating in an Ironman Triathlon to celebrate his cancer remission. Born in Honolulu, HI, he is a graduate of Vintage HS in Napa, Life Pacific University in San Dimas, CA and he and Jean are the Founding Pastors of CrossRoads Community Church in the North Bay. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University Irvine.
