Tobin Bolter
Head Coach Cross Country, Track & Field
My name is Tobin Bolter and for the past three years, I have had the awesome opportunity to coach athletes on the Cross Country and Track & Field teams. Every season, it has been my desire to train athletes to become disciples of Christ (Matt. 28:19-20), coaching them to love God in every biblical way (Mark 12:30) and to teach others to do the same (Mark 12:31).
As a former student of Berean, I was able to compete every year on both the Cross Country and Track & Field teams. During this time, I was fortunate to have several different coaches, who were able to teach me different racing fundamentals and strategies. These various coaches allowed me to compete twice at the State Cross Country Championships and Track Meet of Champions.
I was fortunate to continue my racing career to the collegiate level, where I competed on the Cross Country and Track & Field teams at The Master’s University in Santa Clarita. Again, another great coach was able to lead our team to the NAIA National Cross Country Championships several times.
As you can see, the opportunities that God has given me have only been made possible by experienced coaches. These opportunities and experiences have given me the ability to teach athletes not only how to run a race for God’s glory, but how to build physical and mental life-lasting traits. Without them, I would not have the knowledge and experience to be able to coach Berean athletes.
