Miss Denise Sanchez

Head Coach Varsity Ladies' Basketball

Denise Sanchez joins the BCHS girls’ basketball program as head coach beginning the 2018-19 season. Prior to that she served as assistant coach during the 2017-18 season. She brings with her over 15 years of experience as a player and student of the game.

High school years:

During her high school career at Colfax High School, Sanchez helped Colfax win three straight Sac-Joaquin Section Championship titles. Sanchez led the Pioneer Valley League (PVL) in scoring with 19 points and 11 rebounds per game her senior year and was a first-team All-PVL selection. She was also a team captain and an Optimist Club All-Star.

College years:

After high school, Sanchez was awarded a basketball scholarship to play NCAA Division II basketball for CSU Monterey Bay. She graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accountancy.

Professional career:

Sanchez is a CPA for a San Francisco consulting firm who supports her passion to give back and serve others through athletics.
