APPLICATION PROCEDURES

Applying to Berean Christian is a simple four steps process:

1. Complete an application
Online applications for the 2018-2019 school year can be accessed through our website, beginning November 3, 2017.

2. Read and Sign the Parent-Student Handbook
The Parent-Student Handbook (link available below) was designed to maximize students' opportunities to develop in Berean Christian's core values and ideals in their lives. It is a guide for growth and success at Berean Christian, and a common frame of reference between Berean Christian, parents, and students. Before the interview, parents and students must read and agree that the student will abide by the policies presented in the Parent-Student Handbook during the student's time at Berean Christian.

3. Interview
Applicants being considered for acceptance will be contacted by the admissions office to schedule a family interview.

4. Decisions
Each student's file is reviewed by the Admission Committee, which meets in an executive session. Decisions include consideration of the applicant's potential for success in our program and the parents' desire for a Christ-centered education for their children. Parents will be notified in writing as to acceptance or non-acceptance. Reasons for either decision are kept confidential within the committee.

5. Acceptance
Families will be notified of admission decisions by mail. A completed transcript from the student's prior school must be received before the student can attend classes. Berean Christian reserves the right to retract an offer of admission to a student previously accepted if the final transcript reveals performance or behavior unacceptable to our school's standard for admission, or if any information on the original application is found to be false.

Re-enrolling Applications
Re-enrollment for the 2018-2019 school year will be done through RenWeb beginning in January 8, 2018. In addition to the re-enrollment process through RenWeb, all appropriate forms and fees must be submitted to the front office by February 28, 2018. Beginning March 1, 2018, if you have not completed all the steps for re-enrollment, we cannot guarantee your student a position at Berean Christian; positions will become available to our waiting pool students and the re-enrollment fee increases by $100 after February 28, 2018.

Non-Discriminatory Practices
Berean Christian High School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, financial aid programs, athletic and other school-administered programs.
