Gabrielle Abigor's Basketball Achievement

Congratulations to Gabrielle Abigor, our Division 1 Girls’ Basketball Player of the Year!

In the 2021-2022 season, sophomore Gabrielle Abigor averaged 27.6 PPG, along with 18.3 RPG, and 9.3 BPG as point guard for Berean Christian High School. Coach Wells says “She is a natural born quiet leader and although she leads by example, she can often be heard cheering on her teammates, picking their spirits up in challenging moments.”

Congrats again, Gabby, and we’re praying that you continue to pursue the Lord in all you do, on and off the court!

Vivian's Tennis Victories

This year, we met the vivacious Vivian Gallaway as she entered Berean's campus for the first time, as a Freshman - We were so excited to learn about her passion for tennis, and bringing that vivacious spirit to the court! In addition to her new presence, we also added a new Women's Tennis Coach to our staff, and were thrilled to see how Coach (Dr.) Rhonda Gibbs brings not only her excitement for tennis to the court, but more importantly her love for Jesus Christ in how she led our team this year.

This fall (2021), Vivian became the Diablo League Champion, and went on to become the CIF-NCS DII Runner-Up.

We are so proud of you Vivian, and cannot wait to see how you continue to excel as an Eagle.

National Signing Day

Sam McConnell ('22) has signed with California Baptist University's Swim & Dive team!

Sam is a Scholastic Presidential Award winner with a GPA of 3.5. She holds the school record in the women's 100 Butterfly with a time of 1:00.02 (2019) and in the Women's 500 Freestyle with a time of 5:10.39 (2021).

Congratulations Sam on this incredible milestone - We're so excited to see how you continue to use your gifts at the NCAA D1 level!
